Overview

Trekking is one of the most desired adventures among the youth and adults. Nepal is famous for the hills and mountains and the best place for trekking. Annapurna Circuit trek is one of the most popular treks within the Annapurna Mountain range of central Nepal. Every year more than 100,000 tourists come to trek and visit the Annapurna Circuit. On the way to Annapurna Circuit trek, you can easily get lots of tea-house which makes this trek quite comfortable for you. The total route length is 160-230 km depending on the transportation. You have to cross two different river valleys and circle around the Annapurna massif. You will reach the highest point of the Thorong La pass i.e. 5,416 m that touch the edge of the Tibetan Plateau.
The trek is one of the most challenging as it includes climbing up and down the mountains. As the trek is considered as of the most popular trek in the world, it has long distance and enjoyable trek than the others. You need to cover four regions: Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, and Myagdi. The lower elevations of Lamjung and Myagdi are predominantly Hindi. The regions are rich in green subtropical valleys with beautiful villages and terraced farming. Manang and Mustang region in Nepal are famous for its high altitude with Tibetan Buddhist. You can find Gurung and Magars in these regions with unique culture and tradition. The regions relate to the part of Tibet, however, the people living in these regions identify themselves closer to Tibet. You can see the people following the Bonpo religion i.e. the religion influenced by Tibet. You can see many greenery farmlands with the best natural sceneries. You can visit one of the most popular sacred sites of Hinduism called Muktinath on the way.

Itenarary

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu Airport


As you arrive at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will transfer you to your hotel where you can do rest and fresh yourself after your long fight. In the evening, you will be invited to visit our office for a briefing about Annapurna Circuit trek. You will also discuss trekking guide and essentials factors as well as equipment needed during trekking. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu


The next morning, after early breakfast, we will manage you to visit a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. You can visit major world heritage sites such as; a pilgrimage Pashupatinath Temple, Monkey temple called Swyambhunath, a biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath, Royal Durbar Square and many more. Today’s tour can offer you to visit full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments in the Kathmandu valley, a capital city of Nepal. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Drive Kathmandu to Besi Sahar (820m)


Today, after early breakfast, you will take a Tourist AC bus to Besi Sahar, about 6 hours’ scenic drive take you to the beautiful Beshi Sahar which is situated at the elevation of 820m above the sea level. In the evening, you can explore the Besi Sahar and interact with the native people. Overnight at Besi Sahar.

Day 4: Besisahar/Bhulbhule to Bahundanda (1270m): walking distance.


We will officially begin our trek from Besi Sahar to Bhulbhule and Bahundanda, which is situated at the summit of 1270m. The trail goes up the east bank of the river by passing an impressive waterfall, surrounded by a screw pine, a tropical tree and further trail let you witness the Langur monkeys jumping from one tree to another in the forest. The way to Bahundanda wanders you through extensive views of Mt. Ngadi Chuli and Manaslu with impressive the Sisneri Khola during trek is quite unimaginable for the trekkers. You will encounter a Tibetan settlement on the way and get chances to observe their unique culture and lifestyles then finally you will reach small hamlets to Bahundanda. Overnight at Bahundanda.

Day 5: Bahundanda to Chamje (1410m): walking distance -13 km


Today, after early breakfast you will descend on a steep through rocky way where you will get chances to witness ancient golden Amphitheatre-shaped rice terraces and further trail lead you to the pleasant village of Kanigaon which is situated at the summit of 1170m. This beautiful village offers the best view of the astonishing waterfall across the Marsyangdi river. The continuing steep and slippery trail goes waving through beautiful paddy fields and small Tibetan villages and further trail ascends through the beautiful rhododendron forest and finally reach to Chamje. Overnight at Chamje.

Day 6: Chamje to Bagarchhap (2160m)


Today we will cross to the east bank of the Marsyangdi river and follow the trail along the river bank. The further trail leads you to past fields, beautiful bamboo and rhododendron forest, potato fields and you will reach Dharapani. After exploration of Dharapani, you will make your trail climbing gradually over a spur and through a forest of a blue pine, spruce, hemlock, maple, and oak, and finally reach to Bagarchhap, which offers you to witness and observe typical Tibetan architecture. You will enter into the Manang region, where you can visit first Tibetan Monastery and the sporadic glimpses of Lamjung Himal (6986m) and Annapurna II (7937m). Overnight at Bagarchhap.

Day 7: Bagarchhap to Chame (2710m)


Next morning, after having early breakfast, we will make a trail through the south bank of the river and climbing through beautiful forests and reach to Danaque, which is situated at the summit of 2210m. Danaque offers you to visit a beautiful apple orchard and follow the rhododendron forest. The further trail will go through fir forest and the beautiful river. At the entrance to Chame, you will get chances to witness Mani wall and you will finally reach to Chame which also offers you astonishing views of Lamjung, Annapurna II/IV (7525m). Overnight at Chame.

Day 8: Chame to Pisang (3210m)


In this day, early in the morning after having breakfast, we will make our trail through beautiful forests. The way to the Pisang, you will get chances to views of dramatic Paungda Danda rock face, a tremendous curve slab of rock and you will finally reach to Pisang, which offers you great views of Annapurna II from the peak of Pisang. Overnight at Pisang.

Day 9: Chame to Pisang (3210m): walking distance 4-5 hours


Today, after early breakfast, we will continue to ascend trail through pine grooves where you will witness the small turquoise lake. Then you will reach to the large Tibetan settlement from where you can view splendid of Annapurna II/III/IV, Gangapurna and Tarkekang. Overnight at Pisang.

Day 10: Acclimatization day at Manang


Today, you will explore the Manang and you will encounter Thorong La pass, highest and most challenging pass, which offers you a splendid view of the Himalaya nearby. Besides this, you will also visit wonderful the milky blue glacier lake, which is situated at the foot of spectacular Gangapurna icefall and traditional stone buildings of native Gurung, Maghar, and Thakali. Overnight at Manang.

Day 11: Manang to Chure Letdar (4250m)


In this day, after early breakfast, we make our trail to ascent out of the beautiful Marsyangdi Valley. This gentle trail follows this valley north, passing a Goths as it steadily gains elevation and further trail take you to Chure Letdar, which offers you to witness impressive large yaks grazing and a stunning view of Annapurna III.  Overnight at Chure Letdar.

Day 12: Churi Letdar to Thorung Phedi (4400m)


Next morning, after early breakfast, we will depart Churi Letdar and we will make our trail towards Throung Phedi, which is situated at the elevation of the 4400m.  The way to the Throung Phedi, you will pass an east bank of the Jarsang Khola, the stream on a wooden bridge at 4310m where sometimes you can witness wildlife such as; Blue sheep, snowcapped leopards, and so on. Overnight at Phedi 4400m.

Day 13: Thorung Phedi trek to Muktinath (3800m)


Today, after early breakfast, we will continue to trail through rocky ridges as it ascends to the Thorung La pass (5416m).  During the way, you will witness the long Great Barrier ridge and astonishing mountain views such as; Mt. Annapurna, Gangapurna and the stunning peak of Khatung Kang (6484m). On further walking, we reach meadows steeply down to Muktinath. Muktinath is pilgrimage sites for both Hindus and Buddhists. Overnight at Muktinath.

Day 14: Muktinath to Marpha (2665m)


Today, early in the morning, you will visit the nearby temples and the religious shrines of Muktinath. After exploration, you will have a breakfast then we will head towards barren hillside to Kagbeni, a medieval village, with its closely packed mud houses and dark tunnels. The further gentle trail will let you observe ancient Tashi Lhankhang Monasteries and finally, you will reach Marpha village. Marpha village is the village of an ethnic group called Thakali. Overnight at Marpha.

Day 15: Marpha to Ghasa (2000m): walking distance - 24 km


The next day, our trail the follows the beautiful Kaligandaki River through the narrow gorge, traditional Thakali villages, which offers you to enjoy greenery and wide open spaces and finally you will reach to Ghasa, which is situated at the altitude of 2000m. Overnight at Ghasa.

Day 16: Ghasa to Tatopani (1180m): walking distance 4-6 hours, 90 meters ascent and 900 meters descent- 13 km


Today, after early breakfast, you will leave Ghasa village and make your trail towards Tatopani, which is situated at the altitude of the 1180m. You can make your trail along Kaligandaki riverside and you will gradually descend with a beautiful forest. The further trail follows the impressive river through a world deepest George, which also offers you an astonishing view of waterfalls. Then you will finally reach Tatopani. Tatopani is famous for natural hot water where you will get an opportunity to bath in the Natural hot water. It is believed that, once you will bath in the naturally hot water, all the skin diseases will be released. Overnight at Tatopani. 

Day 17: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2775m)


In this day, early in the morning, we will leave Tatopani and head towards Ghorepani, which is situated at the summit 2775m. The way to Ghorepani, you will follow dense moss-covered rhododendron forest with lots of bird species, some small beautiful villages and the impressive Ghaja Khola. Around 7 to 8 hours gentle walk takes you to Ghorepani. Overnight at Ghorepani.

Day 18: Ghorepani to Hile (1495m)


Today, early in the morning we will trek up to Poon Hill, which offers you stunning sunrise view and astonishing mountain views such as; Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Tukuche Peak Nilgiri (6940m), Gangapurna (7454m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), and Tarke Kang (7193m),  Lamjung Himal (6986m), Mt Fishtail ( Macchapuchre 6997m), and other impressive Peaks. After that, we can trek down to Ghorepani and trek towards Hile. Overnight at Hile.

Day 19: Hile to Pokhara: walking distance - 7 km


Today, you will end your adventurous trek of Annapurna Circuit trek. We will make our trail back to Pokhara from Hile through Birethanti and Nayapul, crossing the beautiful lust, green Modi river valley. In the evening, you will explore one majestic waterfall, Mahendra Cave, David's fall and the various lakes of Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara hotel.

Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu, take a 25 minutes flight or 6/7-hour Drive.


Today, early in the morning after having breakfast, you will have a scenic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Around 30 minutes splendid flight offers you Arial view of impressive mountains; Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchere(Fishtail), Annapurna and many more. In the evening, you will enjoy the farewell program with typical Nepali culture. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 21: Final Departure


Our representative will take you to the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for your final destination.
