Climbing through the paddy terraces to the high arctic terrain with the constant views of the worlds highest mountains, world’s deepest Gorge in the backdrop of Buddhist Culture is undoubtedly awesome that this climb offers.

Chulu East Peak Climbing is one of the famous classic and most rewarding hike in heavily settled and farmed the southern slopes of the Manaslu and Annapurna ranges. The home place to various tribes like Magars, Gurungs, Chhetris, Thakali, Manang and the Newars let us encounter and observe their various unique culture and traditions. Besides, the dramatic deep valleys, mountain scenery and high Pass of Thorang La, deepest gorge of Kali-Gandaki river Valley and domain of Tibetan Buddhism culture make this adventure very superior for the outdoors enthusiasts.

The wonderful adventure of Chulu East Peak climbing officially begins from the beautiful town of Besisahar, starting point of Annapurna Circuit Trail by following the Marsyangdi river valley through the brilliant landscapes and the native settlement. Chulu East Peak Climbing is physically demanding expedition as it needs medical trained and experienced group leader to lead your trip, and safety back up like a medical box, rope, and Oxygen to cope with future problems that may arise. You will be guided by experienced and qualified staff before climbing, who helps you to for your safety and accomplish successful summit.

Itenarary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu (1,300m).


As your arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by our representative and he/she will escort you to your hotel, where you can take a rest and relax. where our representative will give you a brief orientation of the further peak climbing. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing.


Next day, after having breakfast, we will manage you a half day guide for a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. You will visit major historical and religious places; Pashupatinath Temple, Syambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Royal Kathmandu Durbar Square, situated in the Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Ngadi via Beshishar 823m. 6-7 hrs journey.


After breakfast, we will travel by tourist Ac bus to Pokhara through the scenic highway. Today we will drive around 6 to 7 hours through the foothills of the Himalaya and follow the wide dirt road. After you arrive at Beshishar, you will get chances to explore a large town, the district headquarters of Lamjung. From Beshishar, we will follow upwards to Khudi village and reach to Bhulbule(790m). The further drive will be graded on the river bed, where we can have a magnificent view if waterfall. By the following the river, we will reach to Ngadi. Stay overnight at Ngadi.

Day 4: Trek to Jagat. 1,290m. 6 hrs. walks.


After morning breakfast, we will begin our trail with an easy winding path from Ngadi, crossing the same river through the beautiful suspension bridge. The further trail follows a steep climb and crosses the lush farm terraces field and reach to the lovely village called Bhaundanda. Further trek around an hour and a half descends down through passing the farm terraces and reaching Syange village, a short downhill walk brings close to the river with a great view of the waterfalls on the other side of the Marsyangdi River. The further trek will reach Jagat.

Day 5: Trek to Tal 1,700m. 5 hrs.


From Jagat, we will continue a gradual walk through the terraced farms and we will follow Chamje village, cross a suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi River.  Climbing steeply again, we will pass various teahouses, and reach a viewpoint from where we can have a splendid view of the valley below and Kang Guru massif. The further trail will let you reach and admire the Tal. Around 5 hours walk will take you to this beautiful Tal, where you will also get chances to witness Chortens and prayer flags affirms to the Buddhist influence. Overnight at Tal.

Day 6: Trek to Dharapani, (1,860m) 5 hrs.


Today, after early breakfast, we will leave this beautiful Tal and continue our trail through the gentle path into a narrow valley and descend down by crossing a beautiful wooden bridge. Again, we will begin our trail up and downhill path and reach the village of Dharapani. Dharapani is located at the confluence of the tributary Dudh Khola that joins Marsyangdri. So, you will feel cool as you rich to Dharapani. Overnight at Dharapani.

Day 7: Trek to Chame. 2,670m. Approx. 5-6 hrs.


In this day, after morning breakfast, we will walk towards west passing through the interesting Buddhist village of Bagarchap, after an hour walk from Bagarchap we will ascend up towards the apple country at Dhanaqi, where we can visit apple farm, orchards, and beautiful pine forest with the magnificent views of Manaslu behind us and snow-capped peaks of Lamjung and Annapurna II. The Further trail will follow the river Marsyangdi upstream passing by the villages of Ratamanang and Koto and reach to Chame. Around half an hour of an easy trek from Koto takes you to the village of Chame an important place of Manang region. Overnight at Chame.

Day 8: Trek to Pisang 3,150m. Approx. 6 hrs.


In this day, after having breakfast, we will continue trek from Chame by following the river, we will cross pine woods and small villages with few ups and downs until we will reach to Bratang, the village of an apple orchard. From here we will continue on the gradual path to the bridge, after crossing the bridge a short steep climb leads through the pine forest and reach to the top of the ridge Pisang village. The further trek down and get chances to view a great view of Pisang peak on the north, Annapurna II, and the Chulu peak. Overnight at Pisang.

Day 9: Trek to July. Approx. 3,900m. 5-6 hrs.


Today, after having morning breakfast, we will continue our trek with the great view of the high snow-capped peaks, and we will climb steep up for half an hour to the ridge where we get the scenery of the beautiful landscapes along with our first view of the Manang valley, a wide shaped valley hanging between the two lines of snow peaks. After exploring some dramatic views of the valleys, Hongdre village, Mt. Gangapurna, Annapurna II, III, Tilocho, Chuli east, and Pisang peak. As we reach Pisang Peak, we will find two way and need to choose one of them, which will lead you to the Chulu Basecamp and to Manang. As we walk above the river Marsyangdi, with the outstanding scenery of the surrounding landscapes. Further slope trail just above Nagawa village will take us to the beautiful village of July. overnight at Jhulu camp.

Day 10: At Julu for acclimatisation.


Rest day at Julu for proper acclimatisation and local hike around, this rest day you will view breathtaking mountain views. Overnight at Julu.

Day 11: Trek to Chulu East Base Camp. 4,700m.


In this day, after having breakfast, we will continue our trek towards Chulu East Base Camp. The trek will follow the village for complete wilderness on the barren landscapes with beautiful views of both Chulus and the Annapurnas. The further walk will be a steep climb for an hour to the col between the East and Far East Peaks of Chulu. Overnight at Chulu East Base Camp.

Day 12: Trek and climb to Chulu High Camp at 5,300m.


Today, after morning breakfast, we will continue our trail upwards by following the Chegaji Khola on the east bank until you will arrive at moraines below the col after three to four hours of strenuous walk. As you reach to Chulu High Camp, you can enjoy the stunning view of both the South-West Ridge of Chulu and the East Ridge of Chulu East Peak. Overnight at Chulu High Peak.

Day 13: Rest Day at High Camp.


After a pleasing night at High Camp, we will rest the whole day with the breathtaking views. Today we will prepare for the next day climb. Our representative guide will help you to scout the area of the climb and fix ropes where you feel it is necessary. Overnight at High Camp.

Day 14: Climb of Chulu East.


Today is a day to achieve our dream. We will have a morning breakfast and continue following the snow ridge route ahead. With easy walk, we will reach the summit of Chulu which offers us great magnificent views of the below surrounding valley and the snowcapped mountains. After the exploration of the Chulu, we will descend back to Base Camp. Overnight at Base Camp.

Day 15: Trek to Manang 3,520m. Approx. 4-5 hrs.


We will continue our trek from the Base Camp trek with the great views of the high snow-capped peaks. The further trail will be steeply descending towards Manang through crossing the village of Braga. Braga let you visit Braga Monastery which will display of impressive statues, thangkas, and the religious manuscripts. Around one hour walk from Braga, you will reach to Manang. Overnight at Manang.

Day 16: Trek to Thorung Phedi. 4,400m. via Yak Kharka. approx. 4,130m. 6-7 hrs.


After a pleasing night at Manang, we again continue the trail that leads us to a slow climb up for an hour and reaches to the small settlement of Yak-Kharka. On the way to Yak Kharka,  we can view splendid views of the Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Cloche and the close-up view of Chuli mid. After exploration of Yak Kharka, we will continue our trek towards the Thorung Phedi, by passing a small place of Leder which offers us close up views of Chulu West. As we will trek, we will also walk through a gentle climb for an hour, then descending to Jarsang Khola, a short steady climb brings to near level path on the side of the scree ridge, walking on this gentle path which leads to a descend by the stream and again a steep climb of 30 minutes brings us to our overnight camp at Thorang Phedi.

Day 17: Trek to Muktinath 3, 800m.via Thorang-la 5,416m. Approx. 6-8 hrs.


Today we will reach the Thorang-la, highest point of this trek. On the way. We can have a magnificent view of the northern Annapurna, Damudhar, Bhirkuti, and Dhaulagiri range of mountains. We will follow the winding scree, gravel path and finally reach the height of 5,416 meters at Thorang-la, which offers an impressive view of the stunning high Himalayan scenery. After exploration we will make a long descent to the sacred village of Muktinath, gradual trail for another hour will take us to Muktinath the holiest of all holy places. Overnight at Muktinath.

Day 18: Trek to Jomsom 2,730m. 3-4 hrs walk.


In this day, after having breakfast, we will continue our travel towards Muktinath and then to Jomsom, which is situated at the altitude of 2730m. we will walk today 1,200m of descent through the Kaligandaki river valley floor until we reach to Muktinath. On the way to Muktinath, we will cross Ekale Bhatti, teahouse. Further gentle trek around 2 hours will take us to the Jomsom. a town and a headquarter of the Mustang region. Overnight at Jomsom.

Day 19: Fly to Pokhara 860m.


As morning rises, we will have a morning breakfast and you will take an air-flight to the paradise city of Pokhara. As you reach to this heavenly city, you can enjoy boating in the Fewa lake, and discover Mahendra Cave, Devis Fall with the beautiful mountain views; Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Dhaulagiri, Himalchuli and many more. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 20: Drive to Kathmandu.


The next day, early in the morning, you will head towards Kathmandu through the flight. Around 35 minute’s flights provide you a panoramic view of the Himalayan range and Mt. Everest for the last time. After you reached the Kathmandu airport, you will be taken back to the hotel for the rest and recall all the memories which you were captured in your cameras. In the evening, you will enjoy farewell dinner and overnight you will stay in the same hotel.

Day 21: Free day at leisure in Kathmandu.


Today, we travel the entire city of Kathmandu and explore different religious and cultural heritages including Pashupatinath Temple, Sowanbhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and others. In the evening, we’ll enjoy the farewell party with different Nepali dishes. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 22: Transfer to Airport for the International departure.


Today is your final day in Nepal, our representative will help you to find your flight in order to find your final destination, from this amazing country, Nepal.
